Privacy Policy

iGotRandom provides browser-based random tools without accounts. We do not ask you to send tool inputs or results to a server, but the analytics providers described below may receive limited technical and usage data.

Tool inputs, generated results, preferences, consent choices, and any locally retained history are processed in your browser. Some settings are stored in localStorage and remain there until you clear them or your browser removes them. When you open an explicit share link, its reversible #s= input payload is removed from the active URL before analytics starts, held only in one-time in-memory page state, then consumed by the tool and cleared.

We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand aggregate visits, performance, and interaction patterns. Clarity can collect DOM interaction and session playback data. Tool input, result, and History surfaces are explicitly masked so their content and descendants are not uploaded to Clarity. Their scripts may make cookieless measurements before analytics consent; if you allow analytics, provider cookies and identifiers may also be used. Advertising consent remains denied.

We use limited analytics data to maintain reliability, diagnose errors, understand which features are useful, and improve accessibility and usability. We do not sell your tool inputs or use them to make decisions about you.

Browser data stays under your browser controls. Analytics data may be processed internationally and providers retain it under their own settings and policies; iGotRandom does not create a separate server-side profile of your random-tool activity.

You can decline analytics, later allow or revoke analytics in Cookie settings, clear localStorage and cookies, or use browser privacy controls. Declining analytics does not disable browser-local theme, consent, recent input, or History storage. You may also contact us about an applicable privacy request.

iGotRandom is a general-audience service and is not directed to children who cannot consent under applicable law. Classroom or child use should have adult supervision, and users should avoid entering names, contact details, or other identifying information.

We may update this policy when the service or our data practices change. The effective date on this page identifies the current version.
